The American Rescue Plan Act is the latest federal legislation designed to mitigate the impact of COVID-19.
While much of the nearly $2 trillion bill is focused on financial relief for individuals and businesses, it also includes several significant areas of funding and grant opportunities applicable to human services and post-acute organizations as well as state, county and local governments.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is accepting applications from providers for $149 million in Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Expansion Grants. These 74 awards of up to $2 million per year each are designed to increase access to and improve the quality of community mental health and substance use disorder treatment services through the expansion of CCBHCs, a proven model of integrated care.
