OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Jan. 17, 2023 — Netsmart, an industry-leading healthcare technology provider, announced human services electronic health record (EHR) solutions of the CareFabric® platform have received the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC-Health IT) 2015 Edition Cures Update certification via Drummond Group LLC, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB). By achieving this certification, the Netsmart human services technology meets the latest interoperability standards needed to support compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act information sharing requirements.
The myAvatar™ and myEvolv® solutions earned 2015 Edition Cures Update certification. The comprehensive EHR solutions empower human services providers to optimize every facet of care and services they deliver. Both myAvatar and myEvolv solutions are built for enhanced user experience and drive efficient and clinician-friendly workflows. Providing intuitive workflows focused on clinician and user-satisfaction can allow providers to recruit and retain the top clinicians in the field.
“Our goal is to partner with our clients to digitize their organization’s enterprise with integrated technology that meets today’s requirements of coordinated, value-based care while positioning them for success in the future,” said David Strocchia, SVP & Managing Director of Human Services at Netsmart. “Earning this ONC certification demonstrates our dedication to interoperability across the healthcare continuum and moving the meter forward. This milestone comes as a byproduct of the work our teams, hand-in-hand with our clients, to drive satisfaction and success to meet the needs of the evolving healthcare ecosystem; and through our partnership enable our community-based providers to better serve their clients better.”
By achieving this certification, human services providers now have a next-generation, certified EHR solution that supports funding requirements, data confidentiality, information blocking and complex data sharing regulations.
“In order to deliver whole-person care, community-based providers must have access to an individual’s complete medical history and this seamless data exchange must be supported by continuous innovation by healthcare technology vendors,” said Netsmart CEO Mike Valentine. “We have remained committed to advancing our certified solutions and evolving our interoperability standards to allow our partners to remain competitive in a landscape that requires coordinated care and value-based practices for success. By achieving ONC Certification for both myAvatar and myEvolv we’re able to empower our human services providers to stay up-to-date and compliant with regulations that enable them to achieve funding and grow as an organization.”
The Health IT Modules listed are 2015 Cures Update Edition compliant and have been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
