The Future of TheraOffice is Now: Experience Our Brand-New, Modernized EHR Software Platform

By Ada Gudex, Senior Director and GM, TheraOffice

All-new functionality centered around clinic-wide efficiency and overall patient experience arrives with the release of the latest iteration of TheraOffice®—the Netsmart electronic medical record (EMR) software solution for outpatient rehabilitation providers.

This new update to TheraOffice shows our focus on developing software with innovation at the forefront has never been stronger. New, innovative features are ready to transform workflows, boost efficiency, enhance patient experiences and optimize care delivery—all while adapting to unique workflows with robust customization options. Let's explore the new capabilities and updates arriving for this modernized, device-agnostic platform.

Enhanced Patient Experience

Helping providers deliver quality patient experiences is at the core of the Netsmart mission—the latest updates to TheraOffice EMR software bear that out. With updates to essential tools and customization features, the new TheraOffice is ready to help patients access their care with ease.

An all-new patient navigation screen offers improved organization of data, documents and payments. As a result of the redesign, users can take advantage of auto-filtered drop-down menus that make it easier to find essential functions and features. Plus, a refreshed document organizer and color-coded case statuses help users keep track of important treatment information. To top it off, we have updated the online scheduling function for ease of use and convenience.

It all comes together to create a simplified interface that helps patients find the information and take the actions they need with ease. However, new TheraOffice features are ready to help more than just patients.

Optimizing Care Delivery

A ream of new and updated TheraOffice EMR software features are here to help outpatient rehabilitation providers focus on what's most important: delivering high-quality care their way.

New customizable document templates offer providers more control, adapting to their specific documentation needs. Users can add multiple items to account for current conditions and pain history, as well as use convenient goal creation buttons for goal planning. Likewise, improvements to the plan of care tracker are ready to help providers secure physician signatures with ease.

To further help providers, TheraOffice is both device agnostic and fully integrated with multiple other Netsmart solutions. This one-two punch makes it as easy as possible to access and use the solution's numerous tools in ways that alleviate barriers to care delivery.

Boosting Clinical Efficiency

The latest version of TheraOffice EMR software enacts updates to support efforts behind the scenes as well. Administration and back-office tasks are the engines that keep any clinic running strong, and our new TheraOffice features can make those tasks easier with customized workflows.

Perhaps most prominently, new admin features simplify practice management. Users can quickly add new providers and staff to the system, add additional state licenses and more. Likewise, the Clinic Navigator page offers a quick and easy view of essential items like appointment requests, patient check-ins and support tickets.

Finally, TheraOffice now comes with even more robust security features. By punching up security with tools like IP restrictions and whitelisting, TheraOffice gives providers more control over their networks and data.

Preparing for the Future of TheraOffice

These are just a few of the many new features TheraOffice EMR software is offering to users, and we aren't stopping here. Significant upgrades to the outpatient rehabilitation EMR and office management solution are on the horizon as Netsmart continues to pioneer augmented intelligence (AI), automation and further solution integration. As TheraOffice evolves, we aim to continue supporting outpatient rehabilitation providers with innovative, efficient technology that helps patients and clinics alike.
