See What’s New with GEHRIMED® PALTC Software

By Miffy Henley, Director, Sales and Consulting

GEHRIMED® updates have arrived, and they’re ready to help you make the most of your geriatric medical practice management and electronic health record (EHR) software.

It's no secret that healthcare technology changes rapidly to keep up with ever-changing patient needs and software capabilities. The Netsmart GEHRIMED platform is no different, rolling out regular updates to keep pace with industry trends and anticipate the evolving needs of both providers and patients.

We're debuting a range of helpful new features for GEHRIMED users, from the convenience of an AI-powered mobile app to a redesigned user dashboard. Here's what you can expect from GEHRIMED geriatric care software moving forward.

Keeping Up with Regulatory Updates

Keeping up with regulations is essential for any practice. Fortunately, GEHRIMED reduces that burden with frequent updates to keep users within regulatory compliance.

In its latest refresh, GEHRIMED offers updates to the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) dashboard. New MIPS value pathways (MVPs) allow users to establish specific pathways that meet their specific needs.

GEHRIMED also supports electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) and clinical quality measures for providers participating in Accountable Care Organizations (ACO)s. Intelligent prompts guide providers through their daily workflow, making it effortless to stay current with regulatory requirements.

New GEHRIMED Features You Can Use Today

A range of updated GEHRIMED features are available for users to access immediately.

Company Policies: Company administrators have the ability to enable more warnings for unsigned encounters to ensure timely signing of encounters.

Auto Logout Configuration: New 30-minute default configuration improves security while customization options boost organizational control.

Co-Signature Workflow Enhancements: A new designated cosigning provider setup helps streamline documentation.

Wound Assessment Improvements: Access to comprehensive patient history makes it easier to see previous wound assessment details.

Chronic Care Management (CCM) Dashboard: The CCM Dashboard helps track patients across their chronic care experience.

Upgraded Survey Templates: New template types make structured data collection easier and more accurate and show the history over time.

Simplified Communication: The GEHRIMED directory integration function allows for quick, efficient communication.

As always, these tools aim to help clinicians deliver the best care possible with convenience and efficiency. However, there are even more exciting updates to follow.

Coming Soon for GEHRIMED

Even more updates are on the way for GEHRIMED, as our engineers and designers work diligently to deliver the ever-evolving functionality providers need. These features are working their way through the early adopter program to collect essential data and user feedback. Once completed, they'll be ready for broader use among all GEHRIMED users.

The redesigned GEHRIMED dashboard provides a modernized, even more convenient interface experience. With intuitive navigation and streamlined functionality, this window will guide users to the tools they need. Best of all, users can switch to the new dashboard at no cost.

GEHRIMED is also preparing enhancements to its interoperability capabilities. A newly upgraded facility-agnostic integration will work to provide consistent workflows across facility electronic health records (EHR). The result? More complete care profiles that help inform person-centered care.

We're also working on a new GEHRIMED mobile app to add an extra dose of convenience to providers' days. Acting as a supplement to the full GEHRIMED application, the mobile app will provide a higher degree of flexibility to help save time and effort in daily tasks without being tied to a desktop.

We are particularly excited about the new augmented intelligence (AI) features built into the mobile app, which allow for ambient listening and automated visit recordings along with automated annotation from captured photos. It all comes together to support providers AI abilities that enhance meaningful care.
