Innovative On-Demand Mental Healthcare Has Arrived
Overburdened emergency rooms and long wait times due to medical and psychiatric volume have strained providers nationwide. That’s why Netsmart and Vandoit have partnered to help community-based care providers alleviate the burden on emergency departments and first responders and ultimately, expand access to mental health services.
These specially designed mobile mental healthcare units are equipped with purpose-built telehealth and mobile dispatch technology to address behavioral healthcare needs, opioid crisis response and public health emergencies, especially in underserved areas. Additionally, Findhelp, a partner in the Netsmart Marketplace, is incredibly helpful to have embedded in the mobile healthcare units. Findhelp searches for resources in a patient’s area including pharmacies, food banks, transportation and more.
