Welcome to the Netsmart Family, DeVero!

By Mike Valentine, Chief Executive Officer

Today we made an exciting announcement about our expanding Netsmart family with the acquisition of DeVero. DeVero is a healthcare technology company that specializes in home healthcare and hospice. This addition further advances and expands our home care offering and enhances our technology platform for the post-acute community.

We’ve always had a strong ongoing commitment to provide our clients with leading-edge clinical and business solutions specifically designed for their unique communities. The addition of DeVero to our family provides our home care clients with a full-featured, home care-specific mobile clinical solution that will add even more capabilities for integration and automation across all care settings.

We plan to integrate the DeVero solution into our family of home care, long-term care/post-acute care and human services EHRs, as well as the Netsmart CareFabric platform. This will allow us to accelerate enhancements to the existing DeVero solution and give DeVero clients access to our HIE, analytics and billing solutions.

Throughout the last year and a half, our merger with Allscripts Homecare and the acquisition of HealthMEDX have enabled us to innovate in the post-acute space the way we have in the behavioral healthcare community for the last 50 years. With this acquisition, Netsmart now serves more than 560,000 users at 25,000 organizations, and more than 25 million individuals.

We’re proud to welcome DeVero and its clients into our Netsmart family and look forward to continuing our tradition of developing intuitive technology that allows our clients to focus on what they do best: provide quality care to their communities.
