CONNECTIONS 2022 Health and Safety Guidelines for Attendees
The health and safety of our clients, associates and communities is our top priority. In light of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, we have established guidelines for attendees when participating in a Netsmart event.
These guidelines are in effect until further notice and are subject to change at any time as the Center for Disease Control (CDC) health guidance for COVID-19 continues to evolve.
When attending a Netsmart event, we expect attendees to practice reasonable social distancing and to observe posted signage about use of shared spaces to protect the health and safety of all attendees.
Attendees should follow CDC guidance for fully vaccinated individuals including wearing masks in shared spaces or other situations where social distancing is not able to be maintained or if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. If you are not yet vaccinated or at a higher risk for COVID-19, the CDC advises that you follow additional precautions and quarantine guidelines.
Attendees are encouraged to be mindful if they are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19.
Please refer to The Gaylord Opryland site for information on their protocols and practices implemented in the hotel in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Netsmart will evaluate COVID-19 protocols in each location where an event is being hosted.
Per current CDC guidelines, masks are strongly recommended when social distancing cannot be maintained. Netsmart associates will be encouraged to wear masks when interacting with CONN attendees. Masks are not required when eating and drinking.
Netsmart will comply with any CDC, state and local mask mandates in place for indoor events at the time of the conference. Given how quickly the course of the pandemic can change, attendees should be prepared to wear a mask indoors if asked under these precautions. The Gaylord Opryland is also a participant in the Nashville “Good to Go” program in which participating businesses pledge to uphold the coronavirus guidelines established by Nashville’s Metro Public Health Department and the recommendations of leading infectious disease experts.
We will provide additional spacing between tables and limiting the seating at each table in the meals space. Seating capacities and floor plans will be reviewed prior to the event to ensure compliance with physical distancing recommendations from state authorities, as well as local fire department regulations.
Meals will be served in a safe manner with either individually prepared meals or meals served by event staff.
Yes, Super Early Bird pricing is extended until January 28 to give organizations time to review this FAQ and register for #CONN22.
Any registrants exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or who have been exposed to COVID-19 within 10 days of the conference must cancel their registration or transfer it to another person. Please view the cancellation policy here and contact email@example.com with any questions.
Should Netsmart need to cancel the conference, we will work with registered attendees to determine the best course for a refund/credit.
If an attendee is experiencing symptoms, they are asked to isolate in their guest room and leave with their mask on when departing the Hotel to either their home or a medical facility. All Gaylord Hotels have certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and/or a Registered Nurse (RN) on-site. If the hotel is alerted to a suspected case of COVID-19, the guest will be directed toward appropriate medical care through the Gaylord staff, who follow the direction of local health authorities. The Gaylord will then conduct additional cleaning and disinfecting protocols of all areas that the guest may have been in during their visit. Additional information can be found via the Gaylord Commitment to Clean.
The Gaylord is “committed to clean” and has developed specific protocols for meetings and events, including convention public space attendants who are dedicated to regular cycles of guest touch point sanitization. High-touch points such as conference room doors, light switches and other equipment are sanitized after each group's use. Please refer to the Gaylord commitment to cleanliness protocols found via the Gaylord Cleanliness Policies for additional information.
Safe occupancy will be established for each conference room based on room size. We encourage attendees to register for sessions and events so we can ensure accurate numbers. Room monitors will restrict entry to safe limits for each session. Every attempt will be made to accommodate attendees who want to attend sessions by moving sessions to larger rooms or offering repeat sessions.
The health and safety of our clients, associates and communities remain our top priority. We encourage attendees to register for sessions and events so we can ensure accurate numbers. Seating capacities and floor plans will be reviewed prior to the event to ensure compliance with physical distancing recommendations from state authorities, as well as local fire department regulations. If there are instances in which social distancing is not able to be maintained, we will follow local and CDC guidelines.
