Scott leads the human services organization. In his role, he works closely with the clinical, development and product teams to ensure Netsmart technology solutions and professional services align to client and market needs. Doing so allows clients across the human services industry to participate and thrive in emerging models of care, such as value-based reimbursement.
In addition to driving business and technology strategy for behavioral health, substance use, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and child welfare clients, Scott manages teams charged to develop interoperability, population health, consumer engagement and analytics solutions – all of which are critical to succeeding in a value-based care environment.
Prior to joining Netsmart, Scott worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, serving in leadership roles that spanned from government relations to marketing, sales and integrated delivery systems. Scott partnered with leaders from across the integrated delivery systems teams to develop medication adherence and quality programs. This helped drive standardization, improve patient outcomes and lower the total cost of care.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology from Kansas State University and a graduate certificate in healthcare leadership from Park University.
