Mark Carter

Managing Director, TA Associates

Mark helps to lead TA's global franchise in healthcare. He is a member of TA's Core Investment and Portfolio Committees. Mark serves on the Board of Directors of Aldevron, and formerly served on the Boards of eviCore healthcare, MedRisk, MedSolutions, MPI Research, Quotient Bioresearch, Senior Whole Health and SoftWriters. Prior to joining TA in 2005, he held private equity positions at Parthenon Capital, FdG Associates and The Halifax Group.

Mark started his finance career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers in the Leveraged Finance Group. He received a Bachelor of Engineering degree, magna cum laude, in mechanical engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA degree from Columbia Business School.
