A: CONNECTIONS is an annual conference hosted by Netsmart, to connect and educate our users. This year, CONNECTIONS2015 will feature 12 tracks with expansive coverage of Netsmart solutions, as well as the ever-popular Executive Symposium. Several courses will offer continuing education credits (CEUs). Each session is designed to help you get the most out of your Netsmart solutions.

Q: When and where is CONNECTIONS2015?

A: CONNECTIONS2015 will be hosted at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, Sunday, October 25th – Wednesday, October 28. The Welcome Reception will kick–off the conference Sunday evening and conclude Wednesday afternoon.

Q: What is the attire?

  • The attire for CONNECTIONS2015 is business casual.
  • The attire for the Gala is casual.

Q: Which meals are included with the registration fee?

A: The following meals are included with your registration fee,
  • Sunday, October 25: Dinner*
  • Monday, October 26: Breakfast, lunch and light fare at Solutionarium Reception
  • Tuesday, October 27: Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Gala
  • Wednesday, October 28: Breakfast and lunch
*If you are attending pre-conference training (an additional fee), breakfast and lunch are also included on Sunday.

Q: What is group hotel accommodation rate and when is the reservation deadline?

A: We are offering CONNECTIONS2015 attendees a special group rate at The Gaylord National Harbor Resort, $224.00/night. Reservations must be made by October 1 to ensure the availability of the group rate.

Q: When are User Group Meetings held and who should I contact if interested?

A: User Group Meetings are one hour and will take place during the following times:
  • Sunday, October 25: 3:00 – 4:00 pm
  • Sunday, October 25: 4:00 – 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday, October 27: 5:00 – 6:00 pm
  • Wednesday, October 28: 12:00 – 1:00 pm

Q: What is the Cancellation Policy?


Payments: Full payment must be received in advance of the conference. Registrants will not be granted access to the event until full payment has been received.

Refunds: The deadline for refunds is September 17, 2015. A 10% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund for requests received on or before September 17, 2015. No-shows and cancellations received after September 17th will not be refunded. Cancellations must be received in writing or through the link provided in your confirmation email.

Substitution of registrants may be made at any time prior to October 25, 2015. Please contact Danielle Dobbins in advance to transfer a registration.

Q: Where do I pick up my badge?

A: You can pick up your badge at the CONNECTIONS2015 Registration Desk, located near the Maryland Ballroom.

Registration will be open during the following hours:

  • Sunday, October 25: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Monday, October 26: 6:30 am – 6:30 pm
  • Tuesday, October 27: 6:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday, October 28: 7:30 am – 12:00 pm

A: Yes! The CONNECTIONS2015 mobile app will available 2 – 3 weeks prior to the start of the event. Registered attendees will receive an email to sign-up for the app.

Q: Can I bring a guest to the evening events and other social functions?

A: Yes! You may bring your guest to any of the social events for an additional fee, please see the following for more information:

  • Welcome Reception - $65
  • Gala - $130 (if registered by 8/19/2015, $200 after this date)
  • Guest Meal Package* - $450 (if registered by 8/19/2015, $550 after this date)

* Includes Welcome Reception, Gala, Solutionarium Reception and all breakfasts and lunches.

Q: What should I expect, this is my first time attending a CONNECTIONS event?

A: If you’re new to CONNECTIONS, join us for an hour at the First-Time Attendee Meeting on Sunday afternoon from 4:30 – 5:30 pm.

Q: Is there pre-Conference Training?

A: Pre-Conference training is scheduled for Sunday, October 25th from 9 am to 4 pm

Netsmart is offering nine (9) different courses for an additional fee of $399 per course. Subject matter experts will lead full day (7 hours), hands-on training classes to interested attendees. For the complete list of pre-conference training sessions, click here.
