Welcome to the summer edition of your News Feed!

It’s hard to believe, but we are now past the half-year mark for 2019. If the first half of the year is an indicator of what the second half will be like, 2019 is going to be a great year for the Netsmart post-acute community. 

First, welcome to our new clients who have joined the Netsmart family! We are excited and honored to begin our partnership with you. So far, several clients are implementing the myUnity® platform and are experiencing great success with almost 70K completed visits since last quarter. 

A few highlights in the newsletter I’d like to call your attention to: Those of you in skilled nursing and home health are about to experience the biggest changes to take place in decades with the launch of the new Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) and the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM), respectively, in just a few short months. Be sure to read the Solution Update and Webinar sections that explain all the latest and greatest tools we’ve built for you, so you are prepared to succeed with these new payment models.  

Another valuable read is our guest roundtable where 8 experts share what’s to come in home care and hospice. We are thrilled to launch our electronic Referral Manager® solution to our senior living clients. Check out the great success Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries is having with Referral Manager®. 

The next few months will bring tremendous change across our industry, which will unfold many  opportunities, conversations and collaboration for all of us. Enjoy your last few weeks of summer.
