A NOTE FROM DAWN

Post-Acute

Greetings! Welcome to your first News Feed of 2019. So much is in store this year.

Our goal is—and always will be—to bring you more innovation, value and education. Our quarterly News Feed includes three sections: Product updates, Community updates and Trainings/Events – in a format that’s easy to scan and find what’s most relevant to you.

Be sure to check out the recent enhancements to your CareRecord in the Product Update section.

The new Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) and Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) are the most significant payment changes for the post-acute industry in decades. Know that Netsmart has your back. We have operational strategies, target plans, work groups and trainings in place, so you can be successful in a new era of care delivery and payment.

I encourage you to read Patient Driven Payment Model: A Primer for Skilled Nursing Success and PDGM: What home health agencies should know.

The ongoing changes in our industry will require us to stay connected. With that in mind, be sure to register for our next netCONNECT on Feb. 18. We’re also looking forward to our annual CONNECTIONS meeting in Washington, D.C. May 12-15.

This highly-popular event is filled with three-and-a-half days of educational sessions, networking opportunities, face-to-face time with Netsmart associates and a one-of-a-kind block party. I encourage you to look at the agendaeducation tracks and register today.

One more important note: we value your feedback to the quarterly News Feed. Let us know what you want to see more of. What topics are valuable? Where can we help you most? Please send us your feedback!

As always, thank you for being part of the Netsmart family. Tremendous opportunities lie ahead for all of us this year. Let’s make it happen, together!
