Essentia v8.04 is available to install. Please note the enhancements contained in this release.
- State reporting requirement changes have been the focus for the Essentia engineering team this quarter. Work has been completed for state reporting in the following states: Vermont, Florida, and Mississippi.
- The team has attempted to stabilize the build. The 8.x is installed at more than half of the Essentia clients now. We have changed our build process so that each build is smaller, more stable, and available to clients more frequently than the previous release schedule.
As you know, the Essentia v8.x is ONC 2015 certified. Consequently, with any 8.x build, you can utilize the clinical quality measures to report for Meaningful Use stage 3.
Below are the specific clinical quality measures that can be utilized for Meaningful Use stage 3 reporting. We had 16 measures certified for MU 2 and only 8 for MU 3; consequently, each agency will need to review what measures they are tracking and be sure they are tracking the following:

- CMS177v5/NQF1365: Child and Adolescent Major Depressive Disorder: Suicide Risk Assessment
- CMS155v5/NQF0024: Weight Assessment for Children and Adolescents
