  • CONNECTIONS is the Netsmart annual User Group Meeting. CONNECTIONS2020 will be hosted virtually over three days, from Monday through Wednesday, October 5-7. Each day will consist of a half day of content. Each session will be recorded and made available on-demand for two weeks.

How much does it cost to attend virtual CONNECTIONS?

  • There is no cost to attend virtual CONNECTIONS.

What if I miss a session?

  • Most sessions will be recorded and made available for all attendees to watch on-demand for two weeks following the conference. Our Keynote sessions will be offered live only.

If I wasn’t registered for CONNECTIONS back in March, can I still attend virtual CONNECTIONS?

  • Yes, virtual CONNECTIONS is open for all clients to attend.

Event access FAQs

I did not receive a verification code. How do I get into the event?

  • First, make sure you are registered for the event. Once you request a verification code, we’ll send it via text and email, so be sure to check both. This process usually takes less than 30 seconds. If you still haven’t received your verification code, try clicking “Didn't receive a code? Try again” link on the virtual CONNECTIONS Attendee Hub login page. If you still do not receive the code, email us at

  • First, make sure you are registered for the event. If you are registered, you can access the event via the Go to My Event button on the Registration Confirmation page.

Why did I get logged out?

  • For privacy reasons, your login only stays valid for 72 hours. You will also be logged out after 24 hours of inactivity. You will need to request a verification code once expired. If for any reason you are having difficulty logging back in, please email us at

How do I access a session?

  • First, log into the virtual CONNECTIONS Attendee Hub here, click on the All Sessions tab. Once you find the session you want to attend, tap on it to view the session details. Five minutes before the session start time you will be able to join the session by clicking the “Join” button on the session detail page. Shortly after the session ends, recordings of the sessions will become available in on the same page. Recordings will remain available for around two weeks after the conference.

How do I ensure the best video experience?

  • Just like any livestream, there are things you can do to ensure the best viewing experience. Make sure you have a strong internet connection. It also helps to close non-essential tabs in your browser. If you do experience buffering or your video freezes, reload the session page.

When I leave the session room, I can no longer hear the speaker.

  • Your session experience is designed to be immersive. Just like an in-person session, if you leave the room you can’t hear the speaker! If you navigate to another event page, your session will stop. Simply click back into the session to return to the livestream.

Can I pause a live session?

  • Live sessions can be paused, however when you click the play button again you will be rejoining the live session. Once the session has ended and recorded content is available for playback, this recorded content can we paused and restarted.
