Pre-conference trainings were where things got rolling on Sunday. Netsmart Chief Nursing Office Mary Gannon welcomed mental health and suicide and prevention expert Dr. Dan Reidenberg to the Nursing Summit. Dr. Reidenberg spoke to attendees about their potential to play a significant role in suicide prevention among patients.
Attendees also had the chance to learn a lot when it comes to helping individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. Our Mental Health First Aid training session was a great way to equip individuals with the right knowledge and tools to be able to assist someone in need.
