Back From #HIMSS18 - A Recap
Last week, thousands of healthcare and IT professionals from across the globe convened in Las Vegas for the annual #HIMSS18 conference. Today on CareThreads, we feature some of our favorite highlights from the leading health information and technology conference.
Visitors to our Netsmart booth took advantage of meetings, demonstrations and learned more about how we are working to achieve whole-person care by connecting addiction treatment, behavioral health, care at home and senior living to the rest of healthcare.
Counting down the days until #HIMSS18! Things are coming together nicely and we are super excited to see you! Make sure to visit us at booth 1917 during the conference to find out how we’re connecting the missing pieces of #healthcare! https://t.co/ZzNmA85itv pic.twitter.com/2pz2zcqDAO

HIMSS Interoperability Showcase attendees toured use cases that demonstrated the exchange of data to improve outcomes through interoperability. Individuals had the chance to engage and interact with various vendors and experts to discuss care coordination and interoperability. Our use cases focused on using interoperability to achieve value-based care and to help curb the nation’s opioid epidemic.
