What is InfoScriber?
InfoScriber is a secure, Web-based e-Prescribing and medication management system. InfoScriber is dedicated to providing customers with tools that can better facilitate an understanding of their prescribing practices which will lead to the improvement of pharmaceutical treatment for their patients. For providers and other health care organizations, InfoScriber:

InfoScriber subscriptions are available to individual physicians, group practices provider organizations, and acute long-term care facilities.

Can InfoScriber help me track my pre-authorization requests?
Yes. InfoScriber has a feature that allows facilities to complete requests for pre-authorization online. A related report helps users track the status of their requests.

How does InfoScriber stay current with new medications and related information?
InfoScriber receives medication information and related materials from Multum, Inc. Multum sends updates to InfoScriber every month, which are then applied to the InfoScriber system.

Can I get data out of the InfoScriber system and put into my system?
InfoScriber can routinely provide you with a file that contains all of your prescribing data. With the file, you can import it back into your host system, provided you have a mechanism to do so. Several customers also use the file to create their own custom reports.

How can I get an InfoScriber demo?

Can it work on my handheld?
InfoScriber is investigating a wide range of wireless and handheld platforms. While InfoScriber currently cannot be used with a handheld, some users are using it on tablet computers.

How do you protect confidentiality?
InfoScriber is extremely sensitive to security and confidentiality concerns. We use 128-bit SSL encryption, the most rigorous available, a secure firewall, and password/access protection. InfoScriber is fully compliant with applicable HIPAA regulations. InfoScriber will be continuously upgraded to maintain compliance with changes in HIPAA regulations.

I’m using a billing/clinical software system. Can I also use InfoScriber?
Yes. We are familiar with most widely used legacy systems and have designed programs to help the systems communicate with each other to avoid duplicate data entry. For more information and a custom analysis contact us.

Do I have to use a certain pharmacy?
No. You can develop a customized "pick list" of pharmacies or choose from our library of pharmacies in your area.

What if some of my prescribers aren’t comfortable using computers?
Our system was designed to be very user friendly. The training and support provided by our Member Services department will assist you with the implementation process.

What do I need in order to use InfoScriber?
