Quantum is the integrated financial management solution for all Netsmart products. This solution will minimize the conversion process for customers who move between Netsmart products. Quantum is currently used by organizations that employ Netsmart's Avatar software suite and the CMHC/MIS software.

General Ledger
Considered the backbone of the Quantum financial system, the G/L module allows you to configure your G/L account structure. We have been successful converting many legacy systems to this General Ledger module. Features include user designable financial statements, encumbrances, projected spending rates, journal entry groups with drill down, admin allocation routines, allocation tables for service utilization statistics, cost-per-service reporting, interfaces with outside payroll systems and major clinical billing solutions.

Accounts Payable
Expensing Invoices across programs and cost centers is very easy to do with Quantum’s A/P module. We have streamlined the invoice entry and check printing process and provide for solid audit trails. The system tracks vendor history for as long as you wish with expense distribution drill downs. We can also modify our programs to print on your existing check stock.

Payroll
This module is being used by small, medium and very large healthcare organizations. We have added many features to this module in order for it to be as efficient as possible in your environment. Features include employee allocation tables, automatic check reconciliation, FTE logic, leave tracking, LWOP logic, provider profitability reporting, pay history inquiry with drill downs to detail and more. 

Human Resources
The H/R module is fully integrated with the Payroll system and is used to manage benefits, positions and track employee assets and licensure information.

Fixed Asset Tracking
Quantum’s Fixed Assets module tracks assets across your organization by division, location and room number. You can use a Symbol Scanner to count assets and download the information to Quantum for automatic asset movement tracking and reporting. The system also depreciates qualified assets and interfaces the transactions to General Ledger.

Purchasing and Requisitions
The Purchasing module is integrated with Accounts Payable so that Vendor P/Os can be reconciled to invoices. The system allows users to enter requisitions locally or from remote locations. The paperless requisitions pass through a management approval process and then the P/Os are printed and tracked.

Consumer Job Wage
Geneva has developed this module to be used by customers who have an MR center or Work Activity/Sheltered Workshop. The Consumer Job Wage module tracks hourly and piece rate work performed by consumers. It provides a means to update time studies and calculates the consumer’s commensurate rate according to federal/DOL calculation requirements.

Statistics
Service Utilization information can be interfaced from your system and stored in the Statistics module. These may include the number of Diagnostic Assessments, Cases Reviewed, Per Patient Days, etc. This information interacts with the G/L financial reporting programs to help deliver “cost per service” reporting.
