Insight 6.1 - Upgrades all around
Insight Version 6.1, from Netsmart Technologies, introduced the long-awaited Insight Pharmacy Module. Adapted from the mature Patient Care Management System (PCMS) pharmacy system, but with improved usability features, Insight Pharmacy provides a complete pharmacy system integrated with Insight clinic management system. Pharmacy is not the only improvement in Insight 6.1:
Insight 6.1 - Feature Highlights
- Insight Pharmacy module with Medi-Span™ drug-drug interaction and patient education.
- Improvements to the Insight Appointment Scheduling module including integrated graphical calendar, group scheduling and the ability to move appointments and profiles from one date to another.
- User-controlled sorting for most grids in Insight.
- Spell checking added for most large text fields.
- User-configurable speed form for high-efficiency patient registration.
- Drop-down pick lists for user-defined fields in Registration and Encounter. Also more user-defined fields added.
- Real-time statistics on provider caseload in Case Management. Also mail merge has been added to Case Management go generate up to 1,000 different form letters.
- New Inventory of Community Resources in Case Management; allows users to enter and search programs and eligibility criteria.
- Ability to view Case Management applications and referrals for a whole family-at-a-glance.
- Immunization contraindications are now "red flagged" in the immunization header.
- Scoring added to Medical Records questionnaires. This can be used to compute risk factor scores, compliance with goals or education test evaluations.
