Project Status: Netsmart Technologies Real-time HL7 Immunization Interface Projects
Here is updated information on Netsmart HL7 real-time interfacing projects:
- Marion County, Indiana/CHIRP registry
Marion County has successfully concluded testing with the CHIRP registry and live operation has begun. Marion County also used the real-time interface to batch upload historical data for system startup; Over 100,000 vaccination histories were uploaded over a weekend. Due to data quality problems with Medicaid data in CHIRP, Marion County has elected to turn off the registry download (they were spending too much time correcting data from the registry) and is currently uploading data in real-time only.

Real-time Interface operational.
- Clark County, Washington/Child Profile registry
Real-time Interface operational.
- El Dorado County, California/Shots for Tots registry
This project has been put on hold by the registry.
- Kalamazoo County, Michigan/Michigan Childhood Immunization Registry
Initial discussions have started between Netsmart and the MCIR.
- State of Kansas
Test transactions have been successfully exchanged with the KHDE registry from Finney and Riley Counties from the Insight software.
