The myAvatar Chart Tracking medical charting software incorporates the speed and accuracy of bar code technology within myAvatar, and provides seamless recordkeeping and accurate electronic medical chart tracking without the need for additional software. A few simple scans and each chart is tracked to the current location and user.

myAvatar Chart Tracking includes all the fields important to your needs. Charts are checked in, checked out or moved from one location to another by scanning the bar code on the chart along with the information about the staff member to whom the file was given. The medical charting software easily generates the bar code labels complete with the patient ID, volume number, etc.

With Chart Tracking, a simple query reveals who has a patient’s medical chart, when they received the file and when it is expected back.

Labels
Bar coded labels for charts and folders are printed within the medical charting software system and scanned using standard bar code wands. The bar code serves as a “license plate” to track the current location and movement of files within the organization. While the labels can be customized, Chart Tracking comes ready to use.

Reports
myAvatar Chart Tracking includes a number of standard reports. Customized reports can also be created as needed.
