EveryDay Matters
Ask 100 people what the phrase ‘EveryDay Matters’ means to them and you’ll get 100 different answers. It’s personal. It’s your passion. For Netsmart, it means putting an emphasis on being a technology partner with our clients, using our resources for the collective good of the community and being a leader through continued innovation. Simply put, it’s about relationships, focus, innovation, and leadership. It’s what we’re focusing on every minute of every day. It’s why EveryDay Matters.

The beginning of a new year always makes me pause and reflect on the past. This year, though, I’m focused on the future and what will happen at Netsmart in the next 12 months. We’re redefining ourselves. It’s kind of a Netsmart 2.0 movement. We feel we have an obligation to become the leader our clients, and the industry, need us to be. I’m extremely excited for this journey.

With the amount of change taking place in the healthcare ecosystem, we know that you need a connection with your technology partner that goes well beyond a help desk. Our goal is to be a ‘co-pilot’ with you in navigating that challenges that lie ahead. We want you to see that we’re backing up our promise of change…that it’s more than just words. Our focus for 2012 is on:
  • Creating alignment with our clients by having a plan for each client
  • Ensuring our solutions meet the unique needs of the many clients we serve
  • Delivering new, innovative solutions to save you money, work more efficiently and provide the best care possible
  • Using our resources to partner with you in accelerating the clinical agenda in the health and human services communities
These are big goals, and quite frankly, it won’t be easy. Our associates are prepared for the challenge. They’re eager and they’re ambitious. I’ll be expanding more on these goals in a video we’ll be launching on this webpage Jan. 19. I hope you’re as excited as I am for 2012 and the changes it will bring for both Netsmart and our clients.

Mr. Valentine, I am very encouraged by your new leadership and some of the guiding principles you are promoting at Netsmart. Customer service, establishing true partnerships and achieving sustainable outcomes have never been more vital within our clinic treatment world. It's very pragmatic that an EMR Company would mirror that common vision.

I am very interested in hearing more about the leadership piece in the Mental Health Industry. I understand the levels of leadership that Netsmart has played and continues to play at a Federal level. However, I would love to hear more about the leadership opportunities that Netsmart sees in California with regards to mobility, interoperability, and leveraging the learnings of others so that we can all stop re-inventing the wheel.

Excited and very proud to see that Netsmart has remembered our brave service men and and women with the generous donation to the Wounded Warrior Project. We should also see what we can do for our returning heros with employment opportunities (of course where qualified).

Awesome mission. I'm excited to hear more about EveryDay Matters and look forward to moving forward with a new Netsmart.

For us at Netsmart, EveryDay Matters is not just a tagline…it’s a movement that’s embedded in our culture. It not only guides us in our daily business principles, but also in the many ways our company and employees are committed to caring about the community. Netsmart Cares was launched as an opportunity to connect with our clients and use our collective efforts to impact and support worthy causes. That being said, we depend on our clients to bring to our attention opportunities where we can work and fund projects together.

Our EveryDay Matters movement also rings true for the many veterans who suffer from combat stress-related trauma. In their quest to recover, every day brings them one step closer to their desired goal. Recently Netsmart donated more than $6,600 to the Wounded Warrior Project. More than $4,000 of that amount was raised by employees during a one-day dunk tank contest. The donation is our way of honoring the sacrifice Veterans have made to protect our country. If you have a project you’d like Netsmart to partner with you on, please contact us.
