Encounters

Encounters Description Release WO#
The EN command was modified to not require an entry in the PRGSUB2 table.  The program will now check for the sub-program's obsolete date if the entry is found in the table. 12.02 36066
The EN38 report was modified to now print 'ALL' if the report parameter #7 is left blank.  IF the report is run for a particular provider both the code and the provider's name will now print on the report. 12.02 36076
The EN35 report was modified to correctly report the YTD totals as well as the Month-To-Date totals. 12.02 36343
The EN32 report was also modified to correctly report the YTD and Month-To-Date Totals. 12.02 36529
The EN35 and EN36 reports were modified to ensure that the reports were properly selecting the V and VS Service-Types from the charge records. 12.02 36600
The EN25 report was modified to remove the unneeded display statements. 12.02 36644
The EN24 and EN25 reports were also modified to properly handle the FISYR table and non-traditional year-end months. 12.02 36443
The report EN25 was modified to now allow the user to run for a specific payor or all payors. Also, the report will allow the user to select either the specific 5 character payor code or to select all records with that payor class (all private insurance records). 12.01 34581
The Label program was modified to not allow the user to create multiple labels and encounters when issuing the ENL, RENC, ENLR, IMENL or TBENL commands. Previously, if the user continued to hit enter, the system would create new encounter numbers for that patient. This does not affect the PAL, PAL1, PALB, EIL, PCMR or STDENL commands. 12.01 35751
The EN35 report was modified to use the FISYR table to determine what the end of the year is for the report. 12.01 36343
The EN38 report was modified to now display the specific provider name and code if run for one provider or to display 'ALL' for the provider name and code if run for all providers. 12.01 36076
The RENC command was modified to not allow a user to change that encounter. If the user wants to change the encounter, they must use the CENC command. 12.00 35033
Report EN36 was modified to use the table FISYR to determine the fiscal year. 12.00 35492
The EN command was modified to now look for an ending effective date on diagnosis codes. The program will look for an ending effective date on the DIAG table and if the encounter date is newer than the ending effective date for that diagnosis code, an error message is returned. 11.04 35186
The EN command was modified to display the correct DISCHARGE DATE if one has been entered for the encounter. There had been a problem with the command using the INPATIENT ADMISSION DATE as the DISCHARGE DATE when the encounter was re-displayed. The correct date had been stored in the ENHFILE but was not being displayed properly. 11.04 35547
The EN38 report was modified to now allow the selection of a specific provider or all providers. There is a new report parameter PROV/ALL that allows the entry of one specific provider. Enter ALL or leave blank to select all providers. This new parameter does not change the report sorting or printing. The report had already grouped the providers. 11.04 34526
The EN34 report was modified to now allow the selection of one provider or all providers. This was added as a new report parameter and the report can now be run for one specific provider or all providers. 11.03 34405
The PENCM command was modified to not print the diagnosis code when the encounter prints. 11.02 34893
The ENDFILE was modified to restore the numeric fields in the QDDSSRC file. This file is used to define the data dictionary of the ENDFILE. The file had been changed during the Y2K changes. 11.02 35013
