John Raden

John Raden is responsible for the direction of Netsmart’s California Business Unit that serves multiple counties and their contract providers. He also provides support to the Revenue Cycle Management, a fiscal management team providing reimbursement strategies for the industry and Netsmart University, an eLearning division delivering online continuing education.
Mr. Raden joined Netsmart in 2011 when Netsmart acquired Sequest Technologies, where he had served three years as chief operating officer. Mr. Raden has more than 29 years of professional experience, including 12 years in senior management providing software and related services to the behavioral health industry and offers a strong expertise and understanding of the fiscal needs of clients.
In addition to his tenure at Sequest, Mr. Raden previously served as chief executive officer of The Echo Group. He spent five years as president/COO of Acadia National Health Systems, Inc., a revenue cycle management company for the healthcare industry. He was also executive vice president of Royal Van Leer, responsible for a $265 million international division that included The Chinet Company, and served as senior partner with an investment group seated on the Exchange.
